I love backyard engineering. And this one from instructables is the finest. During the last two years electric motorcycles have become the hottest products in R&D. Some corporate idiots spend huge amount of money developing something which can be done for far less money. For example this electric flat tracker done by a youngster and his dad. Great work. Corporate wankers should learn from backyard engineering.
Following Advrider.com for years, I noticed a new interesting post – Let`s see your Man Castel – it started with the words:
“Come on admit it. In many of our lives the garage may be the only room that you have complete control over. So show it off. Let’s see your Man Castle…” this was back in 2007.
Now there are more the 100 posts with garages. It is a must see, you will find from a humble cottage to a palace. But all are somebody’s castle.

Get yourself a motorcycle. ’Nuff said. From movie stars to mechanics, hippies to hard-asses — everyone loves the feeling of being on a bike. For some it’s a phase, for others a lifelong obsession. Whatever the case may be, the experience will definitely leave you changed — and somewhat less tamed. Knowing that you can handle a bike – exposed to all that the elements can throw at you – gives you a confidence that’s unspoken. Others will sense somethings different, but might not quite get it. You feel more equipped behind the wheel of any ol’ thing.
