The Red Bull Romaniacs has started and already some of the riders are wondering what the hell they are doing here. If looking for more photos and the current standings look on Red Bull Romaniacs` site – here.

I think this T shirt from KTM is going to be a top seller for a short period in Sibiu.

Loic and his friend are in Egypt and it seems that they are stuck there for a short period due to an injury.  Read the complete story – here. Best wishes to Loic.

The Honda XL 250 R is starting to look like a motorcycle again. I have to wait till the 3rd of July for some parts to arrive.  I have a longer post almost ready about the assembly of the engine and the markings.

Honda XL `78

By The Zor, 15 December, 2009, No Comment

Moving the content of the site from indexhibit to this blog structure I forgot to transfer some content about my latest work. During this summer in an enduro trip, I found a Hondal XL 125 from around `78. It was in a very bed shape but the engine was working. I thought it is going to be a nice re-building project. I started with a complete disassembly of the motorcycle.  Next came the cleaning, sand blasting  and repainting of the frame, fender and fuel tank.   Next on the work bench is going to be the engine if only I find some spare parts on eBay.

I still don`t know if it is going to be an accurate rebuild or a cafe racer.
